On May 27, the activity of assisting designated hospitals under the CR Healthy Village Program was launched at Haiyuan County People’s Hospital, Ningxia. Zhang Li, Level 1 Inspector and former Deputy Director of the office of the National Working Committee on Children and Women under the State Council, and Li Xiangming, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of CR Pharmaceutical, attended the kick-off meeting and delivered a speech. Officials and guests from Haiyuan County People’s Government, Haiyuan County Health Commission, Haiyuan County Women’s Federation, the People’s Hospital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Haiyuan County People’s Hospital, and other related organizations and institutions attended the ceremony. Professor Cao Zeyi, the general counsel of the expert team of the program and former vice minister of the Ministry of Health, delivered an online speech and gave high praises to the activity of assisting designated hospitals under the CR Healthy Village Program.
At the ceremony, Mr. Li Xiangming and Mr. Zhang Li awarded the plaques of “Cooperation Unit for the Training of County-level and Township-level Hospitals in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region” and “Designated Hospitals Assisted by the People’s Hospital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region” to the People’s Hospital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and Haiyuan County People’s Hospital, officially establishing partnership assistance relationships between them. Through online training, centralized training, remote consultation, and on-site assistance, CR Healthy Village Program will enhance the service awareness and professional skills of medical staff in Haiyuan County People’s Hospital and surrounding township-level hospitals and village-based health centers.
Mr. Zhang Li, on behalf of China Women’s Development Foundation, passed the “Golden Key” to the Mothers’ Health Express to the Women’s Federation of Haiyuan County. The Mothers’ Health Express full of love is donated to Shutai Township Health Center to disseminate health knowledge, provide health services, and communicate health concepts to women, children and other relevant groups in Haiyuan County, thus contributing to local people’s health constantly.
After the kick-off meeting, Professor Wang Zengwu from Fuwai Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Professor Li Guanghui from Beijing Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital of Capital Medical University, and Professor Wang Zhong from Chang Gung University Hospital of Tsinghua University offered practical online training for local trainees. The Telemedicine Center of Beijing Chaoyang Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University, as the remote assistance center of the program, invited authoritative experts in obstetrics and gynecology to provide detailed guidance for the treatment of typical cases submitted by obstetricians and gynecologists from Haiyuan County People’s Hospital.
CR Healthy Village Program is an important project for CR Pharmaceutical to practice its original aspiration. The assistance for Haiyuan County People’s Hospital marks a new start of the program, which aims to improve primary medical care in the local area, so that local people can enjoy higher-quality, efficient, and convenient medical services near home.
The kick-off meeting is a prelude to assisting designated county-level hospitals under the CR Healthy Village Program in 2021. The program enables the cooperation between top hospitals in Beijing and provincial-leading hospitals, so that they can provide targeted assistance according to the specific needs of county-level hospitals. By bringing high-quality medical resources to primary-level hospitals, CR Pharmaceutical strives to meet the needs of primary-level hospitals accurately, promote discipline construction at primary-level hospitals, enhance the application of medical technologies, and better respond to the medical needs of rural residents.
